The Top 10 Foods You Can Eat At A Baseball Game
With the baseball season beginning this week, it got me thinking about what's great about "The Grand Old Game"
It's the atmosphere and sounds of the ballpark. The crack of the bat, the roar of the crowd, the sound of the glove catching the ball.
But the best part is....THE FOOD! And it got me thinking about what the best or the most favorite foods that you can find at any ballpark in America.
The menus that you'll find nowadays aren't as restrictive as they used to be. Fans have a lot more choices when they got through the turnstiles and head to the concessions stand. Whether by choice (you're a vegetarian), or by necessity (allergies or intolerance to certain foods).
But there are staples that you'll find at a ballpark that haven't changed in over 100 years. And they will be the same 100 years from now. Hopefully, you'll find one of your favorites in the photo gallery below.
Here's a look at the top 10 foods (plus a few others) when you attend a baseball game this season:

Ok, so it's 13. I forgot a few obvious ones when I compiled my first list. I left out soft pretzels originally. But when I went to my first Tigers game when I was 7 years old in 1982, all I can remember is the man yelling "Pretzels, Get your Jumbo Pretzels right here!!" Thinking of that, and as many as we sell at Jackson Field in Lansing, this had to be on the list somewhere.
I also forgot to put popcorn and ice cream on the original list. I'm glad I revised it, you wouldn't let me forget it.
But did I forget one?? Or did I leave out your favorite? Let us know, we want to hear from you!!
