Here are the Mid-Michigan High School Football Power Rankings after Week 8:

1. Sexton (8-0) - CAAC Blue champs poised for another long playoff run.

2. Lansing Catholic (8-0) - Probably has the area player of the year in Tony Poljan.

3. DeWitt (8-0) - Must get players healthy if they want to get back to Ford Field.

4. St. Johns (7-1) - Very formidable team will be tough take out in November.

5. Fowler (8-0) - CMAC champs after a great home win over P-W.

6. Ithaca (8-0) - 64 victories in a row, longest in the nation.

7. P-W (6-2) - CMAC runners-up could go a long way in Division 7.

8. Dansville (6-2) - Second trip to the playoffs in four years.

9. Everett (5-3) - Must beat Battle Creek Harper Creek to get into the playoffs.

10. Williamston (6-2) - Must regroup after two straight blowout losses.
