Season Outlook:
Waverly scored a lot of points last season (averaged 33.1 per game) but they also gave up a lot of points (average of 39.8 per game), with those numbers in mind head coach Anthony Walker and the Waverly Warriors have an emphasis on defense and stopping opponents from putting points up on the board to improve their record in 2017. If they can get through two inner-city rivalry games on the positive end they will be in good shape through the year, especially considering that their final three games are all on the road.
