Walmart Truck Drivers Starting Pay up to $110K a Year

My wife and I shop at Walmart all the time because they have great prices and have just about everything we're looking for.

I drove to Indiana about a week ago and I noticed at least 10 Walmart trucks driving down I-69. All of their trucks had a huge Walmart logo on the side and they were all very clean.

And I was wondering how much money do these Walmart truck drivers get paid per year. Come to find out, really good money.

Walmart cares so much about their products that they are raising their pay for drivers to make sure Walmart stays on top as one of the best companies to drive for in the entire world.

According to mlive.com:

"These latest investments mean Walmart drivers can now make up to $110,000 in their first year with the company," the company said in a join announcement from the Fernando Cortes, Senior Vice President. Transportation and Karisa Sprague, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain People. "And that's just a start-drivers who have been with Walmart longer can earn even more, based on factors like tenure and location."

Sounds like a great company to work for. Overall, Walmart employs well over 10,000 drivers to move their merchandise from city to city.

Mlive.com adds:

According to CNN, the change will raise the starting salary for first year Walmart drivers from around $88,000 to a range of $95,000-$110,000.
