On Saturday, I made my return to Comerica Park after the Pandemic era. MLB still has seven-inning doubleheaders. I can’t figure that one out. Because people still pay for nine-inning games.

Also, I will not complain about concession prices, but they are unbelievable. A family of four probably has to save for months to be able to pay for a game at a Big League Park.

The paid attendance said there were over 10,000 people, but there were only maybe around 2,000 in the park. It was a doubleheader and the first game began at 1:10 and the second game began at 6:10. The Tigers won 3-1. Zach Short had a dinger and a double.

This team now is in third place and ten games under 500. Comerica is a great park to watch pro baseball.

It’s pricey and always will be, but I still plan on going back to at least one more game this season. The Tigers are only a few position players from being more competitive.

If you’re going to a Tiger game, budget yourself for concessions and souvenirs. But, that being said, it’s a great venue and always a fun time. I love going to games because you can relax and watch players play at that high level. I really do watch players position themselves and utilize the fundamentals of the game.

Get down to see the Tigers. I guarantee you will enjoy yourself!
