Three USA Gymnastics executives announced their resignations from the organization, effective Monday according to news outlets.

USAG Chairman Paul Parilla and two other execs made the announcement while the sentencing hearing for Larry Nassar is continuing in Ingham County Circuit Court.

USAG has received heavy criticism from Nassar's victims during the victim impact statements at Nassar's sentencing in recent days because of, they say, USAG's negligence in trying to stop Nassar from committing criminal sexual conduct for which he was convicted of late last year.

USAG president Kerry Perry said in a statement that she supports the resignations of the board members.
