U.S. News Ranked University of Michigan Third Best Public School
Before I begin with this article about the University of Michigan, I just want to make myself very clear. I am still and always will be a Michigan State University fan! (Lol)
Even though I said that with a sense of humor, I would like to congratulate the University of Michigan for receiving such a high honor from U.S. News.
According to mlive.com:
In the public school rankings, UM finished behind the University of California Los Angeles and University of California Berkeley, which ranked No. 20 and No. 22, respectively, in the overall national rankings. UM also jumped a spot in the overall rankings, landing at No. 23 alongside Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
What a great ranking for the University of Michigan. So the question is, where did Michigan State University fall in this lineup of best public schools?

The state of Michigan featured multiple schools in the national rankings. The next highest institution was Michigan State University at No. 83, followed by Michigan Technological University at No. 148 and the University of Detroit Mercy at No. 187.
College is so important for several reasons. One of the biggest reasons is job stability. Another important reason for college is being satisfied with your career choice.
A college degree is extremely important to your success in today's workforce.

Out of the directional schools, Central Michigan University led the way with a No. 239 ranking. Western Michigan University was ranked No. 263. Eastern Michigan University is ranked along several other schools in the No. 299 to No. 391 range.
By the way, on a side note, I always look forward to rivalry week when it comes to the MSU/UM football game each and every year!
