University of Michigan sophomore guard/forward Charles Matthews (pictured) announced, via his Twitter account, that he is submitting his name for the June NBA Draft.  He also stated that he will not hire an agent.

Matthews averaged 13.0 points/game this past season, he was the voted Most Valuable Player in the West Regional.  And he scored in double figures in 30 of Michigan's games.

Matthews had until Sunday to declare for the Draft.  With today's announcement, Matthews (and other underclassman declaring, provided they don't hire an agent) has until May 30th as to whether they will stay in the Draft or to return to school.
