The Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch is reporting on Friday that the annual Michigan-Ohio State football game could be moved to earlier in the season to avoid a potential postponement in its traditional November playing due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"The Game" has been traditionally the final game of the season for both schools since 1943.  Ohio State has dominated the rivalry for this generation, winning 17 of the last 19 meetings between the two schools.  Michigan leads the overall series 58-51-6.

It was announced earlier in July that the Big Ten would play a conference-only schedule for 2020.  It would be 10 games in length, with the Big Ten Championship Game in December at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The revised Big Ten football schedule is expected to be released publicly in the next week or two.
