First baseman Jimmy Kerr was 4-6 on the day with a home run, while outfielder Jesse Franklin was 3-5 with 4 RBI on the day.  Starting pitcher Karl Kauffmann went six innings  to get the win, reliever Jeff Criswell threw three shutout innings to get the save.
