Michigan sixth-year assistant basketball coach LaVall Jordan has left Ann Arbor to take the vacant head coaching position at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, according to multiple media outlets.

Jordan has been with the Wolverines since 2010 and was a part of the staff that led the Wolverines to back-to-back Elite Eights, an outright Big Ten regular season championship, and a berth in the National Championship game in 2013.

It is rumored that Jordan's fellow assistant, Bacari Alexander, is a finalist for the University of Detroit-Mercy opening.
