A pair of Monday night Major League Baseball games were postponed on Monday morning because of an outbreak amongst the Miami Marlins.

A total of 14 Marlins players and coaches have tested positive for the coronavirus since the start of the 2020 regular season last Thursday, and therefore their home opener agaijst Baltimore was postponed.  The Marlins finished a series with the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday.

And because the Marlins occupied the visitors clubhouse all weekend long in Philadelphia, tonight's New York Yankees @ Philadelphia Phillies game was postponed out of caution.

Cincinnati Reds player Matt Davidson was put on the COVID-19 list after Saturday's game against the Detroit Tigers.
