Thanks to three runs in the eighth inning, the Minnesota Twins rallied to beat the Detroit Tigers 4-3 at Comerica Park Sunday afternoon. Minnesota (17-19) was down 3-1 with two outs when Josmil Pinto hit a single then aided by a Rajai Davis outfield error, scored Brian Dozier and Joe Mauer to tie the game. Eduardo Nunez then hit a single to drive in Pinto to take the lead. Jared Burton (1-1) pitched the eighth to earn the win (1-1) while Glen Perkins pitched a perfect ninth for his 10th save. Detroit (21-12) had a 1-0 then built on it thanks to Austin Jackson's double in the 4th inning scoring Miguel Cabrera and then an inning later on Ian Kinsler's solo home run. Joba Chamberlain (1-2) took the loss for the Tigers who lost their first game of the season when they had a lead after the seventh inning. Detroit travels to Baltimore to start a series with the Orioles Monday night. Rick Porcello (5-1) takes the hill for the Tigers while Bud Norris (2-2) will start for Baltimore.
