Clemson's junior QB Trevor Lawrence (pictured) announced on Wednesday morning that he will forego his final two years (remember, because of COVID-19, 2020 is a "free" year) and enter the 2021 NFL Draft.

He released a 2 1/2 minute short film announcing his decision:

Trevor led the Tigers to the 2018 National Championship and was the national runner-up in 2019 (lost to LSU).  The Tigers lost to Ohio State in the national semifinals last week.

Lawrence, who missed two games this season because of a positive COVID-19 test during the season, finished second in the Heisman Trophy voting behind Alabama's DeVonta Smith.

He is likely to be the top pick in April's NFL Draft.  The Jacksonville Jaguars have the first pick and are expected to take Lawrence.
