Treasure of Ty Cobb Cards Discovered

Imagine cleaning out the old house of a dead relative and coming across an old paper bag holding a million dollar treasure. That's exactly what happened to a family who wishes to remain anonymous.

According to a report by the Associated Press through The Detroit News, this family came across the find of a lifetime...seven identical Ty Cobb baseball cards that date back to 1909. The seven cards come from a set known to collectors as T206, one of the most sought after card sets that also includes the most popular baseball card of all time, that of Honus Wagner.

The cards have been authenticated by multiple memorabilia dealers who rate the cards, on a scale of 1-10 as 3.5 to 4.5...pretty good for 100 plus year old cards.
