Tom Brady Replaced By the Patriots With MSU’s Brian Hoyer
Tom Brady is off to Florida to play for Tampa Bay. For about $25 million a year. And who will replace Tom in New England? Sad Patriots fans will sob, "Nobody, man. Nobody." However, the Patriots just hired an experienced QB - who's been on the team twice before - former Michigan State QB Brian Hoyer.
According to ESPN, Brian was released by the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday and promptly picked up by the Patriots. Hoyer will make slightly less than Brady - about $1 million a year. And he probably won't start for the Patriots. He'll be there to share his NFL experience with Jarrett Stidham, the Pat's 2019 4th round draft pick.
But you never know. There's a lot up in the air in New England, now. Here's the story.
