The Tennessee Titans announced on Monday that the team and head coach Mike Mularkey have agreed to part ways.

Mularkey took over as head coach of the Titans in November of 2015, replacing the fired Ken Whisenhunt.  The Titans were beaten by the New England Patriots on Saturday night in the AFC Playoffs.

The team finished 9-7 in 2017 and upset the Kansas City Chiefs in the Wild Card round last week.  New England Patriots Offensive Coordinator Josh McDaniels has been mentioned as Mularkey's potential replacement.
