Getting inspiration from the Son of Swami himself, Mick McCabe (who wrote an article about his top boys basketball players covered in 50 years at the Detroit Free Press, seen here). Our very own Dean of Mid-Michigan sports, Tim Staudt, revealed his list of the greatest boys basketball players he's seen in 50+ years of covering area high school basketball.

He came up with 15 players (1st, 2nd and 3rd team), and five coaches that stood above the rest.  Plus a handful of players/coaches who were worthy of high honorable mention.
