Tigers Top Prospect Named Number 6 Prospect In Baseball

The Tigers top prospect and number one pick last year, Casey Mize continues to move up.  Currently he is one of the top prospects in all of baseball.

According to the story from M-Live,  Mize is the Tigers top prospect and has recently been named the number 6 prospect in baseball.   The ranking is from MLB pipeline.

Mize is currently in Double A Erie pitching for the Seawolves.  He made his Erie debut by throwing a no hitter.

The Tigers top pick may move up to the number 2 spot in baseball as the top four currently are in the majors and will lose their prospect status.

Hopefully he will continue to dominate and Tigers fans will be lucky enough to see him debut in Detroit later this summer.

Mize isn't the only highly ranked prospect.   Pitchers Matt Manning and Franklin Perez are  48 and 71 and infielder Isaac Parades is 93 in the top 100.

It maybe  a struggle in Detroit this season but at least we should see some great young talent in the next few years.
