Tigers Top Prospect Has Best Performance Of The Year In Minor Leagues
The Detroit Tigers have some good pitching prospects in the minor leagues. This past year saw their top prospect have the best performance of the season.
According to Minor League Baseball, Casey Mize was number one on the list of the top ten performances of the year.
Casey Mize earns the honor with his no hitter he had for the Double A Erie Seawovles back in April.
Not only did he pitch a no hitter but he did so in his Seawovles debut. For the first month of the season he was pitching in Lakeland for the Single A Flying Tigers.
The game ended up 1-0 as the Seawolves beat the Altoona Curve. He is the Tigers current top prospect and it will be interesting to see if he stays in Erie or if he will make the jump to Toledo this season.
