Tigers Send OF Reyes To IL; Bring Up OF Hill

On Friday morning, the Detroit Tigers put outfielder Victor Reyes on the 10-day injured list due to an injury and brought up outfielder Derek Hill to replace him on the 26-man active roster.

Reyes, like many of the Tigers players this season, has struggled at the plate with a .157 average in 27 games played.  He was sent down to Triple-A Toledo earlier this season because of his offensive struggles.

Hill has been up with the club twice this season, but only as the 27th man for a pair of doubleheaders this spring.  Hill only appeared briefly in both games.
