The Detroit Tigers took a 10-1 lead thanks to a seven run third inning but the Minnesota Twins came back to make it interesting but in the end Detroit held on for the 10-6 win at Target Field Friday night. Nick Castellanos led Detroit (12-8) with a two run home run and 3 RBI.  Torii Hunter and Rajai Davis each had three hits with Hunter adding 3 RBI. Rick Porcello (3-1) pitched five innings giving up six hits and struck out four for the win. Minnesota (11-11) got home runs from Brian Dozier and Trevor Plouffe and two doubles from Jason Kuble.  Kevin Correia (0-3) was chased after 2 and 1/3 innings after giving up eight runs and eight hits in taking the loss. The two teams continue their series Saturday afternoon in Minneapolis.  Anibal Sanchez (0-2) takes the hill for Detroit while Phil Hughes (1-1) gets the start for Minnesota.
