Multiple media reports say that the Detroit Tigers have agreed to terms with outfielder J.D. Martinez, avoiding arbitration.

J.D. was the team's last arbitration-eligible player.  He reportedly gets a 2-year deal worth $18.5 million.  He had asked for $8 million for the 2016 season, the Tigers had offered $6 million.
