The Detroit Tigers rallied in the eighth inning to defeat the Oakland A's 6-7 and the O.Co Coliseum Tuesday night to snap a three game losing streak. Torii Hunter tied the game at 5 in the seventh inning with a solo home run then Austin Jackson singled home Rajai Davis in the eighth for the go ahead score for Detroit (29-19). John Jaso had given Oakland (31-21) a 5-4 lead in the bottom of the fourth with a two run shot and had previously tied the game at two after the Tigers had taken an early lead. Al Alburquerque (2-1) pitched a perfect seventh for the win and Joe Nathan picked up his 11th save. Fernando Abad (0-2) picked up the loss. The two teams continue their series tomorrow as Anibal Sanchez (2-2) will pitch for Detroit and Scott Kazmir (5-2) goes for Oakland.
