The Detroit Tigers gave their fans their money's worth tonight during their game against the Colorado Rockies, winning 11-2. It seemed like it was going to be a close game starting with Miguel Cabrera, hitting a ground double to score Rajai Davis. In the 2nd, Drew Stubbs hit a ground double, bringing home Justin Morneau to tie the game. Rockies took the lead when Charlie Culberson hit a soft ground out, this allowed Stubbs to score. Miggy took the plate and hit a one run homer to tie the game. The Tigers brought the pain starting in the 4th after a double off the bat of Alex Avila, bringing home Nick Castellanos. Eugenio Suarez brought home Avila after a ground single. Victor Martinez hit a 3 run homer in the 5th. Ian Kinsler hit a ground single score a run by Suarez. In the 7th, J.D. Martinez hit a homer, and in the 8th Davis hit a line drive single to score Avila. The Rockies still had some fight in them going into the 9th. Stubbs hit a ground single, scoring Nolan Arenado. Wilin Rosario hit a line drive double, bringing home Brandon Barnes. Charlie Blackmon hit a ground out, allowing Stubbs to score. This is the first game in 102 years that the Tigers have scored a run in every inning.
