Tigers Put James McCann On DL

The Detroit Tigers have put starting catcher James McCann on the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday morning.  This after McCann sprained his ankle while sliding into first base in Monday's game against Pittsburgh at Comerica Park.

McCann was replaced by backup Jared Saltalamacchia in the sixth inning.  The team has called up catcher Bobby Wilson from Triple-A Toledo to replace McCann on the 25-man roster.
