Tigers lose to the A’s, 3-1

It was a dramatic game for the Detroit Tigers (29-20) tonight, losing to the Oakland Athletics (32-21), 3-1. It was a good start for Detroit, with Torii Hunter hitting a one run home run in the 4th inning. The Tigers would keep the lead til the bottom of the 9th. Anibal Sanchez gave up a double to Coco Crisp. Joe Nathan was called from the bullpen. After a botched play from Nick Castellanos, Josh Donaldson hit a 3 run home run to take the walk-off win for the A's. Sanchez had a good game with 8 strikeouts in 9 innings, and The Tigers will have one last shot for revenge against the A's tomorrow afternoon, game broadcast begins at 3:10 PM on Lansing's Big Talker, 1240 AM, WJIM.
