The Detroit Tigers won their sixth straight game with a 8-6 victory over the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Park in Arlington Wednesday night. Detroit (42-32) won thanks to back to back home runs from J.D Martinez and Victor Martinez and RBI doubles from Miguel Cabrera and former Ranger Ian Kinsler. Anibal Sanchez (5-2) scattered six hits over five innings for the win while another former Ranger, Joe Nathan, earned his 16th save. Texas (35-42) got three hits and two RBI from Adrian Beltre as well as two hits from Carlos Pena including a solo home run. Joe Saunders (0-4) took the loss.  The two teams conclude their series Thursday night when Rick Porcello (9-4) pitches for Detroit and Nick Martinez (1-4) takes the hill for Texas.
