Tigers Cut Seven, Major League Roster at 29

Before Wednesday afternoon's exhibition game against the Philadelphia Phillies, the Detroit Tigers announced that they have sent pitcher Blaine Hardy and six others to minor league camp.

This trims the players in major league camp to 29.  With outfielder J.D. Martinez expected to start the season on the disabled list, three more players will need to be cut before the regular season starts on April 3rd in Chicago against the White Sox.
