This Wisconsin TV Station is Very Confused About Michigan’s Upper Peninsula
You'd think Wisconsinites would know a thing or two about Michigan's Upper Peninsula. After all we're Wisconsin's elegant, class-up-the-joint hat. But, no, it appears there's some confusion in Cheddar Land about the UP.
A television station in the Green Bay area, WLUK broadcast a news story about the Foxconn deal in downstate Mount Pleasant with the map of the area incredibly labeling Michigan's Upper Peninsula as Canada.
So perhaps there was an invasion from the north while the nation's attention was on the southern border.
Or perhaps Yoopers decided not to break away from Michigan and become the 51st state of Superior but rather join the Dominion of Canada.
Last, and most likely, a producer made an innocent, but to us Michiganders, hilarious mistake.
