The MLB All-Star Game is almost upon us once again. This year's game is in Cincinnati. There could be a lot of drama, because of the Pete Rose situation. But, if MLB is smart they keep this degenerate gambler at arm's length.

This year's All-Star Game is about the players not Pete Rose's situation with MLB. The Tigers have some strong players on this year's club, like J.D. Martinez, David Price, Jose Iglesias, Miggy (DL), and possibly Yoenis.

I absolutely love the MLB All-Star Game; it is by far the best All-star Game in pro sports. In a day and age where overblown contracts and ego-driven ball players make up a lot of pro sports. This All-Star Game is getting back to remembering my childhood. I remember in 1971, when Mr. October crushed that baseball off Doc Ellis that hit the light transformer in Tiger Stadium, I was in Traverse City with my late parents who I love and miss very much.

So you get the picture why today's youth should love this grand old game called baseball. It will always be America's pastime. I can't wait for this game. Even with interleague play. I don't care about the Homerun Derby. I want to see the American League win, so they will have home field advantage in October. MLB, please change that rule ASAP.
