The Masters Golf Tournament Postponed
In light of the coronavirus outbreak, the Augusta National Golf Club announced on Friday that they have postponed this year's Masters Tournament (golf's first major of the year) until further notice.
This announcement comes one day after the PGA Tour announced the cancellation of this week's Players Championship, as well as all tournaments through early April's Valero Texas Open.
The Masters tournament (slated for April 9-12) has been played at Augusta National since 1934. Tiger Woods (pictured, after winners last year's Masters) is the 2019 champion; he's won the tournament five times.
