It was a good day for the first game of the preseason, beating the Cleveland Browns, 13-12.The Lions scored first in the 1st quarter after Nathan Freese kicked a 37 yard field goal. The Browns fought back with Billy Cundiff, kicking a 43 yard field goal to tie the game. Cleveland takes the lead in the 2nd with a 26 yard field goal kicked by Cundiff. Freese tied the game again with a 32 yard field goal, but the Cundiff and the Browns took the lead in the 3rd with a 41 yard field goal, and another one for 41 yards in the 4th. But The Lion's wern't done yet. With a minute and seven seconds on the clock, Kellen Moore threw to Corey Fuller for a touchdown, and the Lions took the lead after the extra point, kicked by Giorgio Travecchio. Moore led the team in passing, throwing for 121 yards. George Winn rushed for 39 yards. And Andrew Peacock lead in receiving for 43 yards. The Lions go up against The Oakland Raiders next Friday, the 15th. Game broadcast begins after Detroit Tigers Baseball on Lansing's Big Talker, WJIM AM, 1240 AM.
