The Road Warriors, also known as the Legion of Doom were the greatest professional wrestling tag team ever. They were managed by Precious Paul Ellering.

The Road Warriors were one of the toughest  meanest tag teams ever. This team was a wrecking crew. They both met and got together in the gym they worked out in. The Road Warriors were comprised of two guys that just beat people up in the ring.

On October 19, 2003 Michael James “Road Warrior Hawk” Hegstrand died of a heart attack in his house in Florida. His partner Joe Michael “Road Warrior Animal” Laurinaitis died on September 22, just two weeks ago. Both of these men were a force in professional wrestling.

They also wrestled many years in Japan too. Both wrestled for the WCW and WWF. These guys were just pure intensity and intimidation. Their entrance to the ring was blood curdling with Road Warrior Hawk Screaming; what a rush!

The Legion of Doom were just pure electricity as performers in professional wrestling. Now they live in infamy forever. Hawk was just 46 years old when he passed. Animal who just recently passed was 60 years old.

I saw them in person multiple times and will never forget how great these two cats were.
