Baseball is coming back later this month and I'm VERY excited about it. I've been a big fan of baseball my whole life. When I was growing up, summer wasn't complete unless we had a Detroit Tigers game playing on our little radio sitting out on the back step so we could listen to Ernie Harwell call the game while we were swimming or playing in the backyard. Now I know that this year, baseball is going to much different than in year's past...but hey, it's better than nothing.

The Detroit Tigers are scheduled to play their first game of the season on Friday, July 24th in Cincinnati against the Reds. The Tigers will be playing their first home game of the 60-game season at Comerica Park on Monday, July 27th against the Kansas City Royals. Right now the Tigers are busy playing some 'summer camp baseball' and it appears that they're already having a great time. Earlier this week, Derek Hill had this amazing catch in the outfield at Comerica:

And, when you're trying to be safe and Dr. Fauci says that you can't be shaking hands and probably shouldn't be giving any high fives, what do you do as a baseball player to celebrate? Well, thanks to Miguel Cabrera, we now have the 'low fives'.
