The Kentucky Derby is Back at Churchill Downs, and It’s Just a Six Hour Drive from Lansing
Tomorrow marks the 147th running of the Kentucky Derby in Louisville, Kentucky at Churchill Downs. There will be 20 horses that will run for the roses. This is the first leg of the Triple Crown.
Last year it was totally different because of the Pandemic. This year there will be not be a full house of spectators because of the Pandemic.
Can You Drive There From Lansing?
Louisville is exactly six hours from the Lansing area, so it's not too bad of a drive. I have never been to the Derby but will go there sometime. It’s a very interesting place to be. The ladies wear huge hats and people are swilling Mint Juleps at will. It’s really a venue you should check out at least once in your life.
Why You Should Go to the Kentucky Derby
Even if you don’t bet on any of the races, a person should go to Churchill Downs in Louisville just to be entertained. This year’s 147th Kentucky Derby will have a full field of horses from all over the world. The three top horses are Essential Quality, Rock Your World and Known Agenda. But that doesn’t mean they will win, place or show!
Tomorrow pushing 6:57 PM watch “the most exciting two minutes in sports,” the 147th Kentucky Derby live from Louisville. It’s Derby Time and enjoy it.
