Another PGA major is going on again: The British Open is now underway.

The venue is at Royal Liverpool across the pond in England. To me, this PGA major is the most intriguing of all four. It's played in sometimes miserable weather, which makes the course even that much more troublesome.

The Royal Liverpool Golf Club is in Liverpool, home of the Beatles. Like I said, if the wind and rain comes, this can get interesting, because some of these British Opens have really been all about the weather conditions.

Eldrick " Tiger" Woods is in the field and trying to make the cut. Woods is 15-1 odds to win this Major. He hasn't won one since Torrey Pines and sudden death against Rocco Mediate. That was a long time ago, but he did have a great first round.

The other PGA players who will make a run for a big win are Martin Kaymer, Rory, Sergio, Phil and many more. Of course, any PGA player that wins this tournament will be propeled up the ladder in world rankings. If Tiger is victorious this could put him in the first place ranking once again. He lost that place because he hasn't been active in tournament play due to back surgery.

Anyway you look at it, come Sunday it should be a very interesting finish.
