On Monday NASA named four astronauts who will fly around the moon late next year, including the first woman and the first African American assigned to a lunar mission.
A Grand Rapids native has been chosen as part of the NASA team that aims to return astronauts to the moon and may get the chance to walk in the lunar surface.
SpaceX launched astronauts into space this past Saturday on U.S. soil for the first time in nine years. The astronauts arrived at the Space Station, safely, on Sunday morning.
