Grand Rapids Griffins

We are in the golden era of Grand Rapids sports, and our teams may be so good that they're influencing teams in another country.

The Grand Rapids Griffins will be joining the rest of the American Hockey League in taking an extra precaution this season following the death of a player.

They were in the middle of their seven-game losing streak and playing like crap. Some of that due to the injury to team captain Dylan Larkin.

There are butterflies, boats, basketball, and more on the schedule for this weekend. You will also find hockey games, comedy, concerts, a time change, food and more!

Several concerts area scheduled this weekend along with hockey and basketball, Human Hungry Hungry Hippos, a Winter Beer Fest, comedy, psychics, and a holistic fair.

It's another weekend of winter festivals, ice, and hockey. But then you can think spring and summer at the West Michigan Golf Show. There are a couple of events for chocolate lovers or head indoors for the Symphony!

February is a busy month for concerts around the west Michigan area. There is also ballet, Chinese dance, comedy, basketball, hockey, and professional wrestling.
