As we get ready for the Fourth of July 2023, these six Michigan beaches are closed.

Michigan has tens of thousands of miles of rivers and streams, meaning you're never more than 6 miles from a body of water or 85 miles from a Great Lake. Sometimes those waters become unsafe with high levels of bacteria or other pollutants and need to be closed for public safety.

Have you ever been to Campus Martius in the summer? If not, you need to go before the warm weather ends.
