Abandoned Michigan

The stone steps are covered in moss and leaves, along with with a mossy roof that looks like it came out of Middle Earth.....

It was the biggest, “most extensive manufacturing works” in all of Benzie County.....

There's always the fear of accidently bumping into someone squatting or something else.....

"The place was plagued with deaths, drug busts, fire violations, dope dealers, and getting busted for operating without a proper license....."

"Unfortunately, there were a good many comments online about how awful this place was and how terrible it was to stay there....."

"They sit nestled between two rows of trees, hiding from the view of motorists....."

The similarity between both the (Leelanau) fact & ("The Shining") fiction buildings brought curious thrillseekers...and some vandalism.....

This one surprised me...no graffiti and no clutter except for a few ripped & torn walls.....
