Stockbridge High School Does Pink Out Friday Night For Local Woman
If you come from a small town, you understand what the term community means. A local Mid-Michigan school is coming together for a good cause this Friday night.
According to a post in the closed Facebook group Stockbridge Mi Area News & Info, the Stockbridge Panthers will be doing a Pink Out in honor of Sarah Salow Henderson, who has been battling Breast Cancer that has very unfortunately spread.
"Sarah is a light in our community. I have been amazed at how she has dealt with this terrible foe. I won't go on; I could speak of her kindness and strength for day's. She is true inspiration and a woman of God. If you know her, you understand what I mean." Local friend Marsha said on Facebook.
The SHS Varsity Football team would like everyone in the crowd to all wear pink, Pink Out, for the Homecoming game Friday, September 20th.
Special T-Shirts will be available in front of the Stockbridge Activity Center at the Old Middle School. Cash Donations will also be accepted, and all proceeds will go to Sarah and her family.
