Spartans win in a Tight Victory against Marquette, 79-68

The Spartans took down Marquette tonight in the Semifinals of the Orlando Classic.The Spartans got a rough start in the first half. Not being able to sink a single 3 pointer, Marquette easily took the lead early in the game. The lead went back and forth between MSU and Marquette but MSU  took the lead at the end of the 1st half with a one point lead 35-34. Early into the 2nd half, The Spartans took the lead and kept it til the final buzzer. Denzel Valentine broke his career record, shooting for 25 points. Brandon Dawson led the game in rebounds with 8. The Spartans shot 66 for 47 in field goals, 15 for 18 in free throws, and 12-25 from the free throw line.
