The Michigan State Men's Basketball team notched their first conference win of the season as they crushed the Indiana Hoosiers 70-50 Monday night at Breslin Center.  Michigan State (10-5, 1-1 Big Ten) raced out to a 13-2 lead and never looked back as they added an 11-0 run in the first half to finish with a 36-17 halftime lead and saw that lead balloon to 30 in the second half. Indiana (11-4, 1-1) closed the gap to 18 but that was as close as the Hoosiers could get. Indiana came in as the Big Ten's highest scoring team averaging 82 points a game but was held to a season low in points. The Spartans had three players in double figures led by Denzel Valentine with 15 points. Branden Dawson added 14 points and pulled down 13 rebounds, and Gavin Schilling chipped in 10. Indiana was led in scoring by Yogi Ferrell who scored 17. Michigan State goes on the road for the first time in Big Ten play as they travel to Iowa City to take on the Iowa Hawkeyes.  Pregame coverage begins at 6:00pm on Lansing's Big Talker 1240 WJIM and Classic Rock 94.9 WMMQ.
