While it says road game on the schedule, with the way Spartan Nation travels for their team, Saturday's contest against Northwestern is likely to feature a lot of green and white in the stand of Ryan Field

Whether it's a hyperbolic statement or not from Dantonio consider that Ryan Field only holds about 47,000, so 20 thousand Spartan fans would make up nearly half of the crowd on Saturday. That's a big expectation from the head football coach.

However, just like it seemingly is every road game for Dantonio and company, Michigan State is more concerned about the team across from them than the crowd around them. The Wildcats come in to the game fresh off of an overtime win over Iowa to move to 2-2 in the Big Ten which as of right now is good for second place in the western division.

Michigan State made a significant move on their depth chart this week, elevating Cody White to starter over Trishton Jackson. However, that doesn't necessarily mean there are changes coming to who gets in the game and at what times.

Michigan State takes their perfect Big Ten record on the road to Illinois to play the Northwestern Wildcats. Kickoff is at 3:30 and you can catch all the action on your home for Spartan Football, Classic Rock 94.9 WMMQ and Lansing's Big Talker 1240 WJIM.
