Everyone has been waiting for college football and it’s finally here. Last weekend we already saw some college games.

The Spartans of MSU hook up with the Wildcats of Northwestern on Friday night in Evanston. Toe to leather at 9 PM.

Head Coach Mel Tucker has put this year’s team together like a quilt. He lost over 30 players after the season and 9-10 players after the green and white game. That's where the Transfer Portal comes into play. Many teams have to use this method of putting their teams together.

Last season Rutgers clobbered MSU with the utilization of the Transfer Portal. They caught MSU off guard with many new players from other schools. So Mel Tucker has had to utilize the Transfer Portal this year to put his team together.

The Spartans will definitely have a new look with players from all over the United States. There will be a new quarterback, running backs, wide outs and defensive players. I’m really fired up to see how Head Coach Mel Tucker will blend together these new players from all over.

I really believe MSU will be a better team than last season, but they could use the element of surprise with a lot of new players. I really think this year's Spartan team will have more speed too. These players should be hungry to prove a lot of former schools wrong.

Who are all of these new players and how will they perform? Time will only tell!
