The holidays are coming and its the time of year where it is better to give than receive. So lets all find time give back over the holidays whether its money or out time. Remember whatever you give we get back 10 times.

If I stay in town its always a great feeling to serve at a mission, and if thats not possible I like to make a donation to a food pantry. If you do your homework some even have donors who match what you give. Nobody should ever go hungry especially during the holidays

New Non-Profits To Help in Lansing mall

Speaking of giving you're gonna dig this. Near the the food court in the Lansing Mall is the new home for two amazing Michigan non-profits according to wilx.com.

I don’t think it’s been done in a mall in Michigan and this capacity,” said Mike Karl, organizer of one of the non-profits, Cardboard Prophets. Placed right between Torrid and Kays Jewelers is where Mike Karl, his mother and volunteers are using the space for new a diaper bank.

We have so many empty spaces in the Lansing Mall, let’s make them serviceable.

How cool is that?  What a great idea. Hats off to Linda Karl who is with the Capital Area Diaper Bank who will be using the space in the mall. They will pass out thousands of diapers and and other supplies to children and families in need each month.
