Gary Harris could have left for the NBA a year ago after his freshman season, when many expected the guard to be selected in the first round of the 2013 NBA Draft. But Harris elected to return to MSU for his sophomore season.

CBS Sports reported Tuesday afternoon that MSU's star shooting guard will leave for the NBA.

Is that decision the best one Harris can make, though?

Were he to come back, Harris would likely be the top scoring option for Michigan State in 2014-2015. He would join Denzel Valentine, Matt Costello and potentially Branden Dawson (who also may leave early for the NBA) to make another run for the Spartans.

Should Harris leave two years early to realize his dream of playing in the NBA? Or could he stand to benefit from more time on the collegiate court?
