Shea Patterson, who played for the University of Mississippi at QB in the 2017 season, announced via his Twitter account on Monday that he is transferring from the school and will be headed to the University of Michigan.

The NCAA has yet to rule on Patterson's eligibility for 2018.  He is one of several Ole Miss players to leave Oxford, Mississippi in light of the school's placement on probation for violations committed under the watch of former head coach Hugh Freese.

If he is cleared by the NCAA, he would have junior eligibility.
