Sexton Football Coach Boggan Steps Down
Veteran Lansing Sexton football coach Dan Boggan, in a text to Tim Staudt on Tuesday morning, announced his resignation as head football coach of the Big Reds.
Boggan leaves after 16 seasons on the west side of Lansing with a 112-61 career record, 11 MHSAA playoff appearances and a Division 4 runner-up finish in 2014. He is the winningest coach in Sexton history.
With Boggan's departure, this makes five openings in the Mid-Michigan area for the 2018 season: Sexton, Everett, Eastern, Waverly, and Okemos.
